    POSITION SUMMARY: The healthcare recruiter is responsible and accountable for ensuring an effective recruitment process to meet organizational needs.  Collaborating with Capital Caring managers, marketing staff, educators and others as appropriate, the Recruiter ensures the timely and effective interview and selection of the highest caliber staff.   The Healthcare Recruiter markets Capital Caring as an employer in the community, recruits qualified applicants for designated openings, prescreens applicants for managers, and facilitates the hiring process.  She/he employs the following resources:  effective print media and internet advertising; employee referrals; direct mail;  attendance at career and job fairs; liaison with schools and universities.   The healthcare recruiter also assists the HR Team in coordinating orientation of new staff.   With the director, Human Resources, the Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for maintaining accurate records of personnel requisitions, vacancies and advertising expenses.


    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, healthcare or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.


    EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-5 years of healthcare, human resources generalist or recruitment experience or the equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills.
