POSITION SUMMARY: The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems for development and implementation of clerical and data processes applicable to regional volunteer programs at Capital Caring to include, but not limited to, support of the Volunteer Services Coordinator. The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant also assists the Volunteer Services Coordinator with volunteer recruiting, interviewing, screening, training, assigning, supervising, and evaluating volunteers in support of the staff and mission of Capital Caring.
EXPERIENCE: The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant must have at least two years of administrative experience. Program coordination or supervisory experience is required. Hospice and/or volunteer experience is strongly preferred.
EDUCATION: The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant must have at least a high school diploma.
