The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant works in collaboration with the Manager of Community & Volunteer Engagement to help manage the daily activities as well as ongoing projects and goals of the volunteer services team. The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant has a strong hand in managing the volunteer database, recruiting and training. He/she will also have a lot of contact and engagment with volunteers.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, occasionally weekend and/or holiday.
Location: Falls Church, VA

The Volunteer Services Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Manager of Community & Volunteer Engagement with multiple tasks related to Capital Caring Health's volunteer services. Some responsibilies will include managing the background check process, volunteer management database, volunteer communication as well as doing project coordination.
Experience Requirements
Must have two years of administrative experience. Program coordination or supervisory experience is preferred. Volunteer experience is strongly desired.
Education Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
